Don't send it in for repair, if you have the skills you can repair it yourself with this kit, includes all you need to fix it yourself.

You should keep the total length of the cable to less than eight and a half feet. If your cable is too long, the voltage drop will cause the device to dim undesirably or quit functioning correctly.

Contains:

• PS Cable, approximately 8 feet in length.
• 6 pieces 1/8 x 1 in. heat shrink tubing.
• 2 piece 1/2 in. x 1in. Heat shrink tubing.

Please refer to the installation documentation for installation instructions.

Requires Moderate Soldering Skill Level to repair PS cable.

You may, at your own discretion, and skill level, repair the cable yourself if it is ever nicked or damaged. Match the Colors of the wires inside the cable, solder, heat shrink, then heat shrink group. Viola, you're done.
